what we did

Cone worked alongside Xylem (previously ITT) for eight years to build Xylem Watermark, an award-winning corporate citizenship program dedicated to providing and protecting safe water resources for communities in need by mobilizing the full capacity of the company’s assets – their talented employees, innovative products and financial resources. Watermark has elevated Xylem as a corporate citizen, while helping to deepen the company’s impact on the global water crisis.

  • $2.7M raised via employee donations (including Xylem matching)
  • 2.5M beneficiaries reached across 27 countries
  • 900+ clean water projects completed

  • Earned placements in a variety of consumer and business media ranging from Fast Company and Mashable to Asia Water and Water Technology 
  • Awards:
    • 2010 – Received the JustMeans Social Innovation Award for Employee Engagement Strategy
    • 2012 –Awarded Excellence Award in Corporate Philanthropy from the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy
    • 2013: Won U.S. Chamber Foundation ‘Citizens’ Award for Commitment to Disaster Response and Community Resilience
