A Message From Our CEO

Employees are a critical stakeholder for any corporate responsibility program, and at Cone, we are fortunate to have a team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to delivering outstanding client service and helping advance our social and environmental goals. I am proud to tell you that 2011 marks the fourth year that Cone has published an annual update on our corporate responsibility efforts, a process that is led by employees with oversight from our executive leadership team. 2011 also marks an important milestone: with the help of our employees, Cone has reached every goal we set in our inaugural 2008 report. In this brochure, we share some exciting updates. In the past year, we have enhanced our efforts to become a more diverse organization, established a long-term community partnership with a local public school, and invested in carbon offsets to reduce the environmental impact of our business travel. In the second half of 2011, we will continue our efforts by working to increase participation in our employee volunteer program, Hours for Good, and by developing strategies that seek to reduce the environmental impact of our client work. We will also review our material issues and set a vision and goals for the future of corporate responsibility at Cone.
