Cone Communications Captures Season of Giving with #GiveGoodCheer Holiday Campaign

BOSTON (December 19, 2016) – Cone Communications, a public relations and marketing agency headquartered in Boston, is harnessing its prime real estate for good this holiday season. For the past week, thousands of busy shoppers can look up to see Cone’s office windows decorated in a massive but simple message: #GiveGoodCheer.

The grassroots effort was started by Cone employees who wrote pledges of how they wish to give good cheer over the holidays. Each pledge connected to form a festive image, culminating in an enormous #GiveGoodCheer collage. Now, more than 60 pledges grace 16 windows overlooking busy Boylston Street, the heart of Boston’s shopping district.

“The holidays can be equal parts celebration and stress; we thought it was important to get back to the basics of what this time of year is all about,” says Bill Fleishman, chief executive officer, Cone Communications. “Part of the fun was rallying our entire staff to think about how they give good cheer, not just during the holidays but all year round. The message really resonated with our team who is dedicated to making a difference not only for our clients, but also for the community we operate in.”
