Cone Program to be Inducted into PR News Hall of Fame
Jiffy Lube’s Maintenance Partners for Life Program Called a “Best-in-class” Model
New York (September 14, 2011) – Cone’s Jiffy Lube International account team is pleased to announce its Maintenance Partners for Life (MPFL) campaign is being inducted into the PR News Platinum PR Awards Hall of Fame at the Platinum PR Awards Luncheon, in addition to being up for 2010 campaign of the year in the Community Relations category.
The PR News Platinum PR Awards has identified MPFL as a partnership worthy of a lifetime achievement award. As they put it, “the Hall of Fame honors successful communications initiatives that have stood the test of time. Our Hall of Fame campaign inductees represent the best of PR, serving as best-in-class models for all future communications initiatives.”
Last year was the first year members were inducted – only three programs were recognized. This year 10 members will be inducted and brought on stage to receive recognition and a plaque. Cone will also be in competition for a title in the 2010 Community Relations category.
