Cone Attracts Three New Clients Across the Agency

Northwestern Mutual, Avon and Mercy Housing Among New Clients


BOSTON (April 19, 2011) – Cone is pleased to announce recent wins in three different disciplines at the agency. Cone’s Corporate Responsibility practice was recently awarded a project from Avon, a previous client of the agency, while the Cause Branding team won a competitive pitch for Northwestern Mutual. Lastly, Mercy Housing hired Cone for Nonprofit Marketing expertise.

Cone’s Corporate Responsibility team is eager to engage with Avon as it continues to drive positive change in the world by empowering women through economic opportunities and by taking positive actions to end deforestation. Cone is producing the company’s third CSR Report, due to launch later in 2011, and creating a more robust web presence for its CSR storytelling.


Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance has engaged Cone to develop and implement a national signature cause program. Cone will work hand in hand with Northwestern to engage consumers and communities and strengthen the company’s involvement in a relevant issue.


Additionally, the Nonprofit Marketing discipline has eagerly begun work with Mercy Housing on launching its new brand and increasing awareness among the U.S. audience. Cone is assisting Mercy Housing in attracting corporate partners to help achieve its mission of providing affordable housing and supportive programs to improve the economic status of residents, transform neighborhoods and stabilize lives.
