CONE’S AWARD-WINNING CSR PRACTICE GROWS
WITH ADDITION OF KIVA STARR
BOSTON (September 22, 2015) – Cone Communications, a public relations and marketing agency, has hired Kiva Starr as a Vice President in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy group. Starr joins industry veteran Lisa Manley in continuing to expand the agency’s award-winning strategy and communications practice.
“Kiva’s broad range of experience in CSR strategy, sustainability and cause marketing is very impressive,” said Lisa Manley, EVP, CSR Strategy. “She has great passion for sustainable development and the role communications, collaboration and creativity play in driving positive social change. We are happy to welcome her back to Cone, where she started her early career in CSR communications.”
Starr is a global CSR expert with over a decade of experience in developing and activating programs for a variety of Fortune 500 companies and leading nonprofits. Prior to joining Cone, she spent nearly six years serving as a senior CSR leader at MSLGROUP, developing and executing global CSR and sustainability platforms for Kellogg’s, Hasbro, Pfizer, PayPal and Deloitte, as well as corporate fundraising strategy for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, March of Dimes, The Muscular Dystrophy Association, and many others. Prior to MSLGROUP, Starr spent six years earlier in her career at Cone working in new business and serving on key CSR accounts, including L’Oreal, Reebok and Disney.
