International Business Awards name ITT Watermark program of the year


Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (October 11, 2011)- ITT’s Watermark program has been pre-announced as a Stevie Winner in the 2011 International Business Awards. The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working people worldwide. Nominated for their efforts in delivering clean water solutions through ITT Watermark, a company representative will receive one Stevie Trophy in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Asia, Australia and New Zealand category.


This award focuses on Subcontinent Asia and reflects a win for Watermark's work in India, Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines. Watermark continues to make huge steps for social responsibility as the program received a similar award last year for its work in China.


Through ITT’s partnership with Cone Watermark was developed as a company-wide social investment and philanthropy program dedicated to providing safe water to people in need by leveraging the full capacity of ITT’s resources. ITT has committed $3MM over three years to provide safe water solutions to 300 schools in Asia and Latin America and additional funds to secure safe water supplies for people in times of emergency. Ultimately, the investments of ITT Watermark are expected to improve the lives of more than 100,000 children and their families.
