George brings more than 15 years’ experience bringing out the true voice of brands. A writer by trade, he prefers to think of himself as more of a problem solver. As Cone’s creative director and copywriter, George brings his award-winning talent to the forefront of the agency’s top-notch client work.
George has found marketing solutions for a variety of blue chip brands and organizations, including Dunkin’ Donuts, Liberty Mutual, CVS Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, John Hancock and the Boston Celtics, the last of which having earned him an Emmy nomination.
George comes to Cone from Allen & Gerritsen, where he worked on accounts that include D’Angelo, Papa Gino’s, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the Celtics. Prior to that, he was a copywriter at Hill Holliday, where he worked with Dunkin' Donuts, CVS, Liberty Mutual, John Hancock and Fidelity, as well as several nonprofits.
George received his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and technology from Ithaca College.
While he was recently named one of Boston’s “Hatch 100” and his work has received numerous accolades, he’s also quite proud of both his athletic prowess (medaling at The Head of the Charles) and coaching abilities (he says kindergarten-age flag football may be more difficult to coach than the NFL). He currently resides in Westwood, Mass. with his wife, son and daughter.
