Senior Account executive

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to help plan and implement strategic programs on behalf of our purpose, consumer and lifestyle brand clients. This role will be responsible for developing press materials and digital content, pitching media, coordinating event logistics, managing third-party spokespersons, leading client projects, among other duties. The successful candidate will also contribute to the growth and development of the team by mentoring junior staff and providing support to senior staff members.
Plan and execute client programs in a timely, efficient and high-quality manner under the direction of an Account Manager or higher-level supervisor
Attend in-person, client meetings and planning sessions, provide post meeting deliverables and facilitate brainstorms with internal team and client
Develop and edit written materials including press releases, digital content and general client correspondence
Lead media relations efforts including media target development, creative pitch ideation, outreach, and relationship building
Assess industry trends and identify/evaluate opportunities that amplify client priorities
Coordinating all aspects of event execution, including media relations efforts, vendor coordination, and staffing
Managing third-party spokespersons from contract negotiations to program implementation
Generate ideas for programs that map to client objectives and conduct relevant research
Minimum of three years professional communications experience required
Experience working with B2C clients on the agency side preferred
Media relations experience required
Solid client relationship skills and a solution-oriented approach to work
Demonstrates proficiency in developing digital content
Strong written and verbal skills, confident style in communicating with clients, and a proven ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks
Exhibit independence with respect to their responsibilities and a deep understanding of the clients, accounts, and industry.
Ability to work well within a team environment, motivate staff and be effective under pressure
Positive, professional and flexible attitude
Passion for lifestyle brands and awareness of industry trends
Relevant background working with consumer and lifestyle brand clients and media preferred
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred in: Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or English
