Account Supervisor, Corporate Social Responsibility

Porter Novelli’s Cone is seeking to hire an Account Supervisor of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to support corporate clients in the areas of CSR Strategy, Reporting, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategic Philanthropy, Employee Engagement and Communications. Porter Novelli Boston includes our team of experts from Cone, the leader in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and consumer brand reputation. Cone became a part of Porter Novelli in 2017, forming the world’s largest agency dedicated to purpose communications.
As a member of the account team, the Account Supervisor is responsible for delivering the highest quality work product for clients, while focusing on cultivating client relationships and helping to identify organic growth opportunities for their accounts. S/he should have significant experience in the CSR space across sustainable business practices and social impact with experience executing CSR campaigns and programs across multiple platforms. Familiarity (or some understanding of) GRI standards, facilitating stakeholder engagement and public-private partnerships are highly desired. The Account Supervisor will also be well-versed on the trends and influencers in the CSR space.
•Constantly looking for new and creative ways for clients to meet and exceed their goals
•Understanding of the CSR space from a Thought Leadership, Influencer and Stakeholder Engagement perspective
•Proficient in in reporting such as materiality assessments
•Having an entrepreneurial spirit, always seeking opportunities to grow the account organically by identifying incremental project opportunities
•Managing multiple accounts efficiently with attention to detail and meeting all deadlines with high-quality deliverables
•Being part of a work environment that is motivating and empowering and collaborative
•Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of CSR trends, corporate CSR initiatives, and how social and digital tools are used to communicate CSR programs
•Minimum of 6+ years of CSR, PR, nonprofit experience
•Highly strategic, creative, and innovative mindset
•Advanced listening, verbal and written communications skills
•Persuasive presentation style
•Display analytical thinking and strategic planning and direction
•Exhibit strong client management and client relations
•Effective coaching skills for junior-level talent
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Ability to travel
•Media relations experience, including pitching and relationships with business and sustainability reporters, is a bonus
