Emilee works on the Corporate Communications team with client experience including Johnson & Johnson, Nestlé Waters North America, Fair Trade USA, Frito-Lay and CVS Health. Emilee has supported reputation and issues management work for several major consumer brands and has worked with clients on a multitude of stakeholder engagement campaigns, message development and issue research and analysis.
Emilee re-joined Cone in 2014 following nearly two years with the City of Boston, where she managed communications strategy and crisis response within the press office of former Mayor Thomas M. Menino, and then served as Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s Deputy Chief of Staff during his transition into office. While in the mayor’s office, Emilee directed response to incoming media inquiries, led proactive communications campaigns for mayoral initiatives and coordinated city departments in the execution of major events, including major policy speeches, the 2013 Boston Marathon Tribute and the 2014 Boston Marathon. Most recently, Emilee guided and executed campaign strategy for the “No on Question 2” campaign in the November 2014 general election in Massachusetts, engaging community groups and acting as a campaign spokeswoman in a successful effort to prevent expansion of the state’s beverage container deposit law.
